I think I saw it posted higher up on here but I can't find it, does anybody know if it's possible to hook the DRLs up to work as OEM DRLs would through the truck?

Yes it's possible. @Jimmy07 and myself have done it

Do you happen to remember what the steps needed to be taken were?

I'll have to find the link for the pins. Use this site http://connectors.dcctools.com/home.htm
and enter your year and model and locate the INLINE BODY FRONT END MODULE then find the pin locations for the drl feed. Then run wires from that connector to the corresponding headlight drl feed. Then using alphaobd program drl's to dedicated and set to led and your set. ( I'm skipping over some steps but those are the main ones)

Edit

Here are the pins

From what I've read in this post, it seems like everyone has the 2019 model. Did anyone buy the projector upgrades for 09-18? what is the quality of those like?

IMO I like these MY18 better than the MY19

I will say that I am impressed at the housing quality of the alpharex/modifystreet headlights. The projectors are decent. But overall for the price are a great headlight

I've had them for a few weeks and love them. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them and don't have any complaints other than the light output is less than my factory quads but that could be my bulbs. I only have a couple of pictures on my computer here at work.

I just installed my set this past weekend and finally drove it at night. Not great alignment; check this out ...

IMG_9347.JPG

this is about 5 ft from my garage so as you can imagine how much worse it is driving at speed on a road. I pulled the light out to adjust it and endless rotations of the nut made zero adjustment. I thought wtf? So I pulled the headlight completely and think I figured out the issue.

IMG_9348.jpg

notice the proximity of the "bulb" to the shroud versus the otherside that actually projects the light as it should

IMG_9349.jpg IMG_9349.jpg

then I looked inside the housing

IMG_9346.jpg

the black plastic piece I THINK should be inside the white housing/shroud thing. This would tilt the bulb piece up and project as it should and more importantly respond to the adjustments. What do you guys think? I know a member in this thread took the headlight completely apart. Does he agree with my assessment. I will be in contact with the seller soon.

Yes, it should be inside the white “socket”. Are you able to snap it back in?

Both myself and @Jimmy07 have opened these up. You should be able to get a screw driver in there and pop it back into place. I had to do this on a set of factory projectors that I over adjusted

Maybe it's me, but I don't understand spending money on new housings only to have less output than the factory quads.
