Yeah, that would make sense.

I contacted them directly and said they couldnt do clears because of federal requirements. But I guess smoked is allowed? Kinda disappointing.

That would be a good question for retro shop. I know he had them for the older styles.

Technically when you remove that little bit of Amber at the front corners you are no longer street legal (federally in the US).

Yeah, I knew the street legal thing, but with a white truck and chrome lights, the amber just kinda looks out of place. Would have been nice to get clear ones, maybe next project!

Are those corner lenses smoked from the manufacturer or did you tint them yourself?

Corner lenses are painted graphite....sorry read it wrong the 1st time... Then saw it in another post.

Mine are painted graphite....but you can still see the light. I know it's not legal but neither is my muffler delete or 20% tint!! Lmao!!

I installed these yesterday

And initial impressions, they are definitely brighter than the Hikaris. Install is a little harder than the Hikaris because the driver is bigger and the wiring /loom is stiffer. But pulling the headlight h7 connector over into the high beam side and sneaking the waterproof connector from the driver to the led bulb from the high beam side I was able to get everything inside the housing.

Got the headlights in and installed today. The v2 is even more beautiful in person. One thing I didn't take into consideration when stating you can change a 9006 LED bulb to H7 with an adapter ring is the plug needs changing too.

You'll need a set of these if you wish to re-use your quad bulbs in addition to the adapter ring mentioned previously...

You would need an make an adapter to go from the projector plug to what's on the headlights.

I don’t know why they don’t make a selectable option for projector or quads, but if you order directly from alfpharex, they have projector adapters they’ll send for free, but you have to call them with your order. Somewhere in this thread I posted part numbers and wiring schematic on how to make your own adapters.
