This is one area I know very little about so I hope that you guys can help guide me.

For now if possible id just like to replace my speakers. Then at a later point when I add a sub and amp for that I was thinking I would add an amp for the speakers. Maybe even run new wires and add some dynomat at that time.

This is my head unit.

What are you going to run the dash speakers off of? you have 4 channels of amplification built into your head unit, you have 4 speakers in the doors. you need something to run the dash speakers, or just dont use any

That looks like great start. If you don't have the dash speakers then you don't need to worry about bypassing the infinity amp so you will run your new speakers off of your new deck. Should work out well.

Youll need to add a small amp to your system to run them. i wouldnt trust a head unit amp to run your doors and your dash in paralell. I would get a small (40-60x2) amp to run the doors, then run the dash speakers off the head unit. that will give you individual control of the volume of all 3 pairs of speakers via your fade controls and gains

Something small and cheap. kicker seems to be the fan favorite around here. Anything from a reputable brand would work. I buy 75 percent of my audio used, and the rest is usually refurbished deals I find

I got no issues spending a bit more for quality and assurance. Again im not really too involved in the audio word but im turned off to kenwood after my last double din head unit.

so something like this? is 60watt the most I want to go? they have 125w amps also?
