Are wheels interchangeable between the 1500 and 2500?

Long story short, I love my 1500 Sport and really want some wheels. However, I'm thinking of stepping up to a 2500 in a year or two. So, will I be able to put the wheels I buy for the 1500 on the 2500 or just wait until I upgrade?

no, the 2500 is a 6-lug - 1500 is 5-lug.

Do you have a 2500 you can drop off so I can count them? Even if they both had 5 lugs, they still could have a different bolt pattern .

no, the 2500 is a 6-lug - 1500 is 5-lug.

Yes thank you, I clearly have no idea how bolt patterns work. And I can only count to 5...so when I looked at a picture of any 2500 ram ever....on the history of the planet...and every single one of today's "let me google that for you" image results... all had more than 5...so I was lost, and unable to answer your question.

. I get it, you're a representative of Google or something... but can't count past 5. I heard that you don't have to reply to a thread if you're really not contributing. I also heard that asking people that probably went from a 1500 to 2500 would make sense too, I mean this is a RAM forum for RAM enthusiast isn't it? Neither is a right or wrong way... just what we've heard. A simple answer would have done it, but the internet is full of assholes that want to be difficult instead.

They do make spacer/adapters that can convert from 5 lug to 8 lug or whatever to whatever

That is true.

You need to be careful with these as the will add to the width of the mounting surface at the hub so wheel offsets you can normally get and use will have to change, they have to be hub centric in design and they can cause some serious wobble.

I would strongly advise against going the adapter route to fit different lugg pattern wheels to your truck- just save ur money for your 2500, you are gonna have plenty of goodies to buy

Honestly, I could have just did a quick Google search. That thought cross my mind when I was at work so I make a quick post instead to check on it later. I was gonna let it go at first, but decided to see how far we could go back and forth when I had a few minutes to spare. So my bad for carrying on like the child you mentioned earlier.

Yeah, not a fan of spacers or adapters. I'll just wait and see. I just passed 10k miles so will probably keep the 1500. It's capable of pulling my trailer fine, I just really want a 6.4L and 4.10 just for a peace of mind.
