Alright sounds good. Just be sure to have them spacers ready for the front doors and one thing I forgot to mention. when it comes to removing the door shells, the only door you probably would want to remove the window control panel from is the driver door all because the large connector on that sucker is a royal pita! On the other 3 doors I just disconnected the connector after I pulled the shell up with no problems but that driver side takes a little bit of work with the aid of a screwdriver.

I got mine from home depot. Just 8 plastic 3/8" ID by 1/2" long spacers. But I'd recommend grabbing 8 3/8" ID by 1/3" spacers and try them first.

I'm actually about to head out and see if I can find some 1/3" spacers myself while I'm getting a 180 t-stat and some rad fluid. One thing I also plan on doing soon that my buddy recommended was getting some dynomat and make a full ring spacer to go all the way around my speakers so that I can seal the sides of them and get a better sound.

Cool thanks for the info...I'm going to have to go to a different autozone then the one I went to earlier...long story short, the guy asked for what vehicle I was using it for and I told them then he said they don't carry any that would fit it. I was like a t-stat is a t-stat so gimme one, and he wouldn't. Started asking why I needed it and what not so I just left and don't want to go back to that one anymore.

JJ how many members usually show up at the MO GTG?

MO? The big on in Columbia? Depends on the year. It was 15 the first year, but interest has dropped off. Not a lot of truck guys in the STL area that meet up anymore.

I was referencing the GTG at Dave's on the 9th.

very nice JJ :)

Well I can tell ya that the back doors are the quickest and easiest. The longest part of that job is either the removal of the door or the splicing....its that quick. The dash speakers are fairly easy, the longest part of that is the splicing since you have only a few inches of slack to work with. The front doors....that'll take a bit.

Oh yea, did i mention you need to drill a couple new holes in the mounts for the doors? The holes are offset and you'll only be able to use 2 of the holes.

No not yet but dammit!!! I wish I did because my stock head unit is defiantly not strong enough for these bad boys, lol. I don't have the money currently to buy the amp or the head unit because I'm funding other things such as....my exhaust, efan, tails/third, and whatever other excuses I can make up for things I can't remember at this time.

I'f I stick to what I'm planning, I'll probably try buying my head unit sometime in june or july and the amp/subs wont be until almost fall time ish. It takes a lot of money to make this project happen.
