When setting auto climate contol to a specific temperature--it works great--fan speed probably 4 or so---question is after the climate control reackes set or desired temp-should the fan speed slow down--semms like mine will not and sometimes gets what seems like a little too cool---thanks

There is a lot of things to factory. First off do you have a 1500 or 2500+. If it’s a 1500 where is you’re humidity sensor at. This could cause problems if it’s not detecting the humidity correctly. Constantly running to lower the humidity in your truck.

Mine slows down eventually, think Humidity sensor for sure. AC sweet bout 69, sometimes 67, sometimes to LOW, SOMETIMES to LOW and MAX, gets HOT here, LOL...

I set mine at 70-71° and it always seems to work great...after the cabin reaches a good temp the fan speed definitely slows down and just maintains everything.

It is a Laramie 1500 crew cab---where would humidity sensor be---have run it a night and no fan slow down but only 25 miles or so--if I raise the temp manually it will slow down but doesn't that defeat the purpose of Auto climate control

Is the cab temperature actually going below the set point?

I don't know for sure---just keeps running on the same fan speed---cab get comfortable and sometimes it seems to be cooler than teh temp but I like it cold in the cab

This is what mine does. I added my with the @Mpgrimm2 harness and board conversion, it was not factory. Don’t know if that makes a difference.

This is how my 18 Laramie 1500 with factory dual zone ATC behaves also. PN below if you need it...

@reborn55 , I would change the cabin Temp Sensor first. (below ignition sw)

- Humidity Sensor (2014-2018 1500's w/ATC): 55111389AF.

- Cabin Air Temp Sensor (13-18's ALL w/ATC):
55111178AC.

M² Mods.
