Any idea on how to program the auto headlights to come on quicker when driving from light to dark? My 17 Ram takes close to 7 seconds for them to come on when driving say under a tunnel, and about the same time for them to come off when back in daylight.

I looked in Uconnect Settings and there is no programmable time. My old car had several timer options. Any ideas?

I've not seen any such settings...except for how long they stay on when you get out of truck. If it's even possible, maybe a dealer could do it (I had them turn on my DRL's)...then charge you a minor fortune to do it.

I have never heard of trying to change this. My first th out is to turn the lights on manually.

I know on other FCA/MOPAR makes they can and have tuned/calibrated the sensor on the dash with the WiTech, ask your dealership to calibrate the sensor because it's not working right.

This is where the sensor is located to run the lights.

It may just be the delay built into the circuit. You don't want it too sensitive or it would cause your lights to flash off & on constanty. I agree with huntergreen that in the tunnel example just turn them on.

There is no way to calibrate that sensor. If it’s not working properly then it needs to be replaced.
