Auto-Up Window not working = Fix, please read

I found this on a Facebook page and I felt the need to share:

Maybe this will be helpful to someone else. I have a 2018 2500. Recently, the " auto up" function stopped working on the driver side window. It was due for oil change so I had dealership check the switch. They said it only required that the computer be recalibrated. Charged $20. Sounded cheap enough. ....when I got back in the truck, it didn't work. Went back in and told them so they came out to check it. Recalibrating the switch consists only holding the switch in the down position for about 5 seconds, then in the up position for 5 seconds. $20 for 20 seconds.

I posted the Fix down below but also wanted to let people know that doing "FOB Tricks" - like the one where you can roll down your windows with the FOB will usually create this problem.

By using your FOB to roll down the window, you basically override the system in which the truck computer wasn't really taught to do it that way and if you don't shut down your truck the right way and the system doesn't reset,
the truck computer is basically telling you-
"You rolled me down that way, now let's see you roll me up"...

My 2018 Express has no auto up, never did. I did the "fix" of holding the buttons both up and down for 5 seconds about a half a dozen times. All it has is auto down just like it always did. Am I missing something? Does something need to be set with Alfa? Never had it so I don't miss it but if I can get it I'll take it!

My 18 quad cab express has auto up and down for both fronts. Never had any problems with it like the ones described in this thread either. I did set the auto down with the key fob with AlfaOBD and it usually works. Can't remember off hand the name of the parameter though

Turns out RCs are not capable of Auto up. We're not sure if it's in 2 button switch or something else. If I ever get my hands on a 4 button switch I'll find out.

Google is good! Thank you @No Tyme ! The power up function stopped the other day out of nowhere on the driver side only. Passenger side works.

Just read this, walked outside and EUREKA! It works. Power up back to the driver side window.

Took a total of about 5 seconds.
