what is the best way to do the wiring on a automatic to standard conversion on a 2001 dodge ram 1500 with a 318? I have a 97 dodge ram 1500 with a 318 standard that I can use for parts.

All I have ever heard is it is easier to sell truck and buy one that is already the trans you want. So much is connected to the computer.
