I might have the opportunity to get back in a Ram. So I can get a leftover 18 Longhorn that is priced at 40k and a new 2019 for 39. Is there anything with the 19’s that is overly ****** or has become an issue. The obvious choice is to go with the 19 but I just want to be aware of things that have cropped up during this 1st year of the 5th gens. I do see that mileage has not been the 24mpg as advertised and you have to use mid grade gas. Other then that has there been issues with the e tourq, transmission or electrical systems. Thanks in advance

I think the 4th gen looks better in all configurations exterior wise. The interior on the 5th gen is very nice but the package as a whole doesn't wow me enough where I got to have one. Maybe if they do something with that grille I might change my mind down the road. If they decided to go SRT or some **** like that I might reconsider....a 485 HP 6.4 with a modest price increase would warm me up to it for sure. Are they still having a bunch of first year model glitches or have they got past most of that. Not too thrilled about coolant running through my differential either.

21MPG Hwy for 4x4 3.21
22MPG Hwy for 4x2 3.21
The MPG numbers are something that may not applicable to every trim/option out there.
You may not get 15/21 on a 4x4 with 3.92s and fully loaded.

Mid grade gas is recommended but not required. You can run 87 without the truck blowing up.

Too new for etorque isses. Transmission is largely unchanged from the 4th Gens.
