hey guys I’m new to the site, just want to give thanks to you’ll for helping me with a problem I had with my Installation of my backup camera, but I have a question, I’m just wondering if I update my Uconnect would that maybe save me a trip to the dealership cause I need the truck to be programmed so my camera with work?

Nope. The XAC sales code needs added to the trucks configuration in the BCM by the dealer to get it to display video while in reverse. The other option is to enable it yourself for the cost of a dealer visit using AlfaOBD...

Where did you get power from? Did you tie into the ECM?
