I have a 1998 dodge ram 1500, when I wiggle the shifter handel when in reverse the backup lights go on and off is there a adjustment that can be made?

Is your Shifter on the column or someplace else, like on the floor
AutoMatic or Stick
If it is on the steering column, it could be MultiFunction Switch
