Noooooooooo!!!! Don't buy one. Lol. The front badge pops out real easy and plasti dip will peel off if you want to remove it so there is no fear of screwing something up.

it is held on with adhesive and has two posts so now it doesn't just pop off, but yes you can get it off

Oh I want to plasti dip both ram heads "the only badges left on truck" and didn't want to paint it on the truck

I do not plan on buying one. I was there getting quotes for other things and just thought I would see how much it was. But $80 really? The badge would have to be coated in 24K gold before I pay that much for an emblem for my truck.

Do you have to sand the badge down to get the pd to stick?

nope just clean the badge real good first and then apply the plasti dip

Okay. Thank you. Im thinking of doing red where everything is "Chrome". I will try it this weekend and let everyone know how it goes.

I have the RAM 1500 from my truck. One side is painted black but I didn't sand it so you could just remove it with lighter fluid or some other mineral spirit.
