I was going to put in my own ball joints only to find they are rusted so bad i couldnt remove them even with a press and 4ft breaker... broke a 1/2 in breaker bar so going 3/4 next...

Used a propane torch, bfh and liquid wrench

I have a 14 power wagon

I dont see any snap rings... anybody done their ball joints have any tips?

Im almost thinking of breaking the bj into pieces then cutting out the casing of the bj... not sure if thats even possible. I have a huge hammer chisel for concrete that might work...

What's worked for me is heating the collar and not the bj. Also while tightening the press, stop and smack each side a couple times and tighten the press and repeat this. For me in the past it will eventually pop pretty loudly and then will come out. These may be things u have already done but persistence is key. Also put the new joints in the freezer for a few hours before installing.
