So i recently found out my ball joint on my passenger side is squeaking. I am pretty broke at the moment and was wondering how long they would possibly last till i can get the parts to fix it. the tire has some play in it but not that much. the squeaking is pretty consistent from what am i noticing. the rubber boot that covers it is pretty torn up.

just looking for ideas on how long i can push off fixing it. My commute is an hour drive each way to work.

Thanks in advance

Mine were squeaking for a year and a half before I changed them. But I'd recommend doing them as soon as possible and do both sides

We have the same truck and they are worn but do not make any sound but we did grease them. After 14 years and 111K miles I do not know if they are OEM or not but the dead shocks were OEM.
