Since new in 2015 my ram sport crew has had a light banging under dash on passenger side. It has become worse over time than again so has the roads so that's probably why louder now lol. Anyways I have both glove boxes out and need to take the wife on a ride to see if she can find it on a real bumpy road. I've looked felt and tugged around and nothing stands out. Ive padded a few wires still bangs. It must be under dash above hvac is all I can think of and what a big job it looks like to take that one whole piece off yikes. I think I saw a video on how to do this but it was from a 3rd gen ram I think. I did notice one wire tapped up on left side. It almost looks like maybe it was for a light in lower glove box? I have a light in top but not sure what this 3 prong plug would have been for. Any real ideas of it's possible use? Anyways if I find what the banging is I'll let you a know incase you have same or similar problem. Unless someone here has already had this and knows so I know more on what to look for. Thank you all as so many great people on this board.

It's a tree rat trapped in the glovebox. Lol. It wants out so it can go pee. [emoji16]

Have your wife try and put pressure on the windshield while driving to see if the bump stops. I've heard this has been the issue in the past...

For me it was where the A pillar met the windshield and the rest of the dash. Remove it and drive around... if the noise is gone as some foam or weatherstrip in between them..
