Basic Questions

Hi Guys,

First post so apologies if these are basic questions. I just joined this forum after purchasing my 2011 Ram 1500 a few weeks ago. After previously driving a tiny Hyundai it's awesome to finally have my Ram. I am trying to familiarize myself with the truck and have 2 questions.

1. Is it normal to see a small water puddle by the front passenger wheel after parking the truck from my commute home? I guessed it's condensation since I had the AC running full blast. Is that normal?

2. There is a drop of pink fluid visible where the front rotor (?) connects to the transfer case I believe. Since it's summer I'm only driving in 2wd, I tested out 4wd before purchasing and it ran smoothly. Is it normal to have a small seep there or should I go to the dealer? I'm under the full coverage factory warranty but don't know if this is a non issue and I'm just being OCD.

#1 is a normal issue, condensation as you stated.

#2.... where the rotor connects to the transfer case...?! "Pink fluid" sounds like tranny fluid, sounds like you have a seal starting to weep.. if you have full coverage, just take it in and point it out. They should repair/replace what's necessary for you.
