I'm having the same issue on my 2013 Laramie Longhorn 6.7L Cummins diesel. I am an electrical guy, too. I was a turbine control systems tech at a power plant, so I understand something about the subject. One of the symptoms of a defective Body Control Module (BCM) can be a parasitic drain on the batteries, unusual idiot lights flashing on the instrument panel, door looks malfunctioning, electric windows malfunctioning, and accessories (such as courtesy lights) simply not working.

My 2019 Ram 2500 Lariot is having the same problem. After 4 sets of batteries I concluded it was the truck. The dealer discovered the BCM failing but 4 weeks later I'm dead again. The dealer now has it for the 4th time since I bought the truck. I believe if they haven't found the problem by now they won't find it. I'm preparing a Lemon Law action.

Are you here to announce your lemon law action or do you want to learn how to diagnose the source of a parasitic draw on the battery?
