I was planning to do LTs, but I got a good deal on BBK shorties. I installed my headers yesterday. Sorry I do not have step by step pics, I could not find my camera. Anyway, install was what I expected, a pain at times but overall not to bad. Took about 5 1/2 hours with a few beer breaks.

As far as power gain, I got a little more power off idle, a fair amount more mid range, and a little more on top.

Here are a couple pics, they have a couple heat cycles through them when this was taken, I had to borrow my parents camera. The pics don't look that great because I did not wipe the headers down after I installed them and they were greasy from my hands. Once they got hot, the grease on them smelled and my finger/hand prints are "burnt" on the headers now. Oh well.

Looks great, can't go wrong with the BBK's especially for the price and a driveway install.

I could tell a nice sound and performance difference after the Magnaflow Y with BBK's. The two seem to work great together.

I would definitly get the ceramic coated headers, but I got a very good deal that I could not pass up for these chrome ones

Feels stonger in the mid range. I think it will get better on top, but I just datalogged and I am getting some KR that was not there before.

It's possible you could be running a touch leaner with the shorties. A 180 T-stat could help with that KR.

I run a Stant 14168 180* Tstat, SC 91 performance on 93 octane with BBK's and DL 0 KR in the Florida heat.

I am going to add some fuel through my DSP and I might make a power wire. I have everything to make one at my house, so I will give it a shot.

You're definately running leaner with the headers. Adding fuel is one of the things I love about diablo!

Thanks. I wasn't even thinking about wiping them down until I drove it and could smell the grease, I know exactly what I forgot :doh2: Oh well.
