Wooo Wooo, instructions say 2006-2018, 2019+
https://bds-suspension.com/instructions/122251.pdf

This kit will be better than Icon Stage 2 for example cause you're getting the Fox 2.5 CO's with front reservoirs and performance front UCA's. i'd think it'll be something like BDS stage 2 and 1/2 :), the rear is still a fox 2.0.

But if you need the matching 2.5 Fox have it so BDS should offer it ? Fox 2.5 part# 883-24-029 without the RES, 883-26-029 with the rear RES.

Vehicle fitment says 2019-2020 though. I'll call them tomorrow and find out more about the kit.

Cool, always good to see new offerings.

To compare - if you take the Icon stage 1 (2.5 COs, non-resi, & 2.O rear) and add the Icon DJ UCA - the MSRP is $2,593.30. This BDS kit w/resi's in the front is $2,772.47. Good competition!

That will be an interesting test. 5th gen can run our struts they just wouldnt get the same lift height mostly cause the spring seat is lower in our case.

4th gen on the left, 5100 in the middle, 5th gen on the right with the higher seat.

From pics/documentation we have, 5100/6112 4th gen are same lengh as stock 4th gen struts. mostly 21.40 extended, 15.12" compressed, extended travel 4th gen is 22.5-23" tops, 16.8 compressed and you get that with Falcon (if i remember the version with the adjusters), King 2.5 and Fox 2.5, possibly Radflo and Icon (haven't been able to validate)

Fox makes two version of Coilovers for the 5th gen RAM, a standard and an extended version.
Don't know which of the two is BDS using in this kit, we could benefit from the standard version, 23.28" extended, 17.78" compressed. however you'll be loosing at extra 1" uptravel as opposed to the extended travel versions for 4th gen, but gaining an extra 1/4 to 3/4 of and inch downtravel.

Fox 2.5 extended travel are 24" extended, 17.78 compressed and i'd think too long for our CV's/tie rods etc at full droop.

I tried the phone but no luck so i just emailed them. In the meantime i don't think this kit was meant for the 4th gen :( I looked at the instructions again and the mention for both models is just for the UCA's, https://bds-suspension.com/instructions/122251.pdf , Part#: 122251 Upper control arm Kit.
I did ask them either way so we'll see what they'll say..

This kit won't work with 4th gen, at least not from BDS perspective. I know for sure the rear shocks are different (upper mounts). Front CO's might work but you'll be on your own. We need @Quick_Shifter to test for us :)

Ok I see what you are asking now. The 2019 parts will not fit on your 2014. There might be something from Fox direct https://www.ridefox.com/subhome.php?m=truck . I would add UCA’s to anything around 2”

Customer Service and Technical support

I asked about the UCA's, i think those should fit. Just waiting for BDS confirmation. BDS also supports the idea of adding UCA's from 2".

And verfied by BDS. BDS 122251 shoud work in our application. I'm adding this part# to the spreadsheet i have and i'll update that thread later on. We gained another UCA at least then :)

Yes the 122251 should work. Both the Zone and BDS use balljoints and are offset for proper alignment.

i would put my money on the coil overs working on a 4th gen. I have put 4th gen oem struts on a 5th gen (wrong parts were sent to the customer and we had it past the point of return) long story short we put in 4th gen loaded struts and alignment for the week it took to get the replacement parts. It lowered the truck 1”
