I'm posting this so hopefully no one else gets screwed.

I purchase a set of 2.5" rear lift blocks for my '09 Ram 4500 from Dodge Off-road (DOR). They took about 6 weeks to make and then ship. Due to some medical and life circumstances, it took me a while to mount them. Last week I was able to start the project and jack the truck up in order to lower each side of the axle. Long story short, I soon realized there were three major problems with the lift blocks:
1) there was a lug welded into the center of one side of the blocks that did NOT serve a purpose to either seat on the axle foot plate or bottom of the leaf pack
2) the holes in the blocks to receive the lugs on the bottom of the leaf pack were too narrow and the leaf pack would not seat on the block
3) the "ears" on the lift blocks to guide/retain the axle U-bolts were 1/8" off and neither the inside front or rear u-bolt would fit through the ears

Just having one of these issues would make installing the blocks challenging, but having all three of these issues made the blocks essentially useless. I tried contacting DOR via the phone number listed on the website but you can't reach anyone and a recording tells you to send a message through the website. I send multiple messages via the website with no response. I tried using the other bot messaging option multiple times, only to be told no one is available. I tried emailing via the email I had when I confirmed shipping, but never got a response.

I understand dealing with a small business can be challenging but ZERO communication with customers and no way for customers to get assistance is essentially a scam. Save yourself a lot of time, money, and aggravation by going elsewhere.

At this point it's been over a week since I first tried to reach DOR and it's pretty clear he isn't going to respond or make things right. I spent $300+ for scrap steel.

Finding aftermarket parts for the 4500/5500 trucks are near impossible. I emailed Truxxx out of Canada on a Sunday with a few questions and Darren, the owner emailed me a little later offering to call me. He is a stand-up guy and has both front leveling kits and rear lift kits for even the big trucks. My experience with Truxxx was superb!
