There is access from the bottom to put backing to spread the load in several places.I sure as heck cannot imagine ne one drilling holes in the side of the bed as a anchor point. The beds sides are so thin ne way, not hold much, IMHO rip/pull out.

@LouM I have these rails as well. I was lucky enough to find three more tie down brackets in a pick n’ pull junkyard.Those bed rails are the factory bed rails;

They work good I have them on my 19,
i have looked a couple of times for extra tie down points for them but haven't found them,
so for now the factory 4 have to do.
