Bed swap

Does anyone know if a 4th gen 6’4” bed will fit in place of the 3rd gen 6’3” ?

I have a 2005 1500 that is in serious need of a new bed.

Never tried it, put 2005 8' on my 2003 8' truck, closest I have come. But would guess that no, you can't without modifications. Wiring could be off, mounting points different, bumper won't attach.

I think its shaped different where it meets the cab to would look weird.

I’m okay with a strange body lines. The 4th gen beds are considerably cheaper than 3rd gen’s.
