This is why I hate taking my truck in to have it worked on...and four days to do it! That's some bs. I'd tell them to fix it or leave a response with BBB
This is why whenever I go have anything done on my vehicles I make the dealership if it's warranty work or a shop for any other work I make them do a walk around on my car or truck whichever I have an list any marks or damage and we both sign it. I keep the original and let them keep the copy. That way if anything is damaged that wasn't when I came in and they refuse to repair if I can easily sue them or if it's a dealership I can call Ram customer service is the GM refuses to repair anything. When I had the 13 Lone Star the 8.4a went bad. So we walked the outside and checked the interior since I only had 4k miles the truck was like new except for a few small scratches from off-roading. When I picked it up the outside was fine aside from being dirty. To cheap to do a quick wash. But my interior had some grease stains which they cleaned and they scratched the bezel all up as well as the upper glove box door. They had to order me a new bezel and door. They tried to say the door was like that and I pulled out the paper and said I don't think so. We had and marks on the interior like the mark I had put on the center console but nothing on the door. I told them I want to see the service manager he tried to argue so I told him I want the GM here now. He saw the paper the service advisor signed that I had and told him that he had a copy from when it was taken in. After that they agreed to get me a new door for the glove box. I had a issue back in 96 when I had a brand new Mustang GT and a dealer scratched the hood. They claimed they didn't do it. Luckily it was a simple wet sand and buff. After that I won't take my truck to any shop that refuses to sign the paper. Most good shops I have been to actually do this and make you sign. It protects me from any damage they do but also protects them from me saying previos damage I may have was done there. Good for everyone involved.
im talking to the owner about it monday if he wont do anything im calling better business and possibly getting a lawyer my dad, neighbor and several people i work with know it wasnt like this before taking it in. place that did the install was triple b sales in lawrenceville il
got the truck aligned today tie rod ends wernt even tight they said, talked to the shop owner was pissed at the employee but it wet well we worked out something nothing got heated going to give him a second chance and let him see about wheel tires for my truck.
Did you create your own sheet like one the dealerships would use or did you find one online to bring with you? Just wondering in case I ever have to bring mine in for anything.
no but its a good idea to have it done. he hasnt done anything yet but he says he will have it fixed. seems to want to make things right so im giving him a chance
