Hey everyone trying to do some online shopping for a set of LED headlights on amazon. most of them say they flicker or need a relay to combat flicker.

I live in a very rural area with no streetlights or houses for miles on end, lots of wild life. need bright as possible, cheap as possible. there a million choices on amazon. anyone here have any experience?

could someone share a positive experience and point me in their direction, should I just go with the halogens?

right now have a few saved on amazon for around 30$ for the pair..

to anyone who says you get what you pay for you don't know what youre talking about. They all come from china korea or japan, theyre all made in the same factories. just because you feel better about spending 150$ on fancy brand name and packaging doesn't mean theyre better.

Katana is a great choice. They are about $40 on Amazon. Most people now are using alphaobd to change lighting settings to avoid using canbus adapters. But canbus adapters are less than $20 so I'd order a set just incase. The canbus system is very particular.

well, then you kinda answered your own question, just order a set with decent reviews.
If they are all the same, then your just buying a brand that is someone's favorite.

What year and what style headlights do you currently have (projecter/reflector)?

I just want someone in here to say yep. Hadem on my 4th gen. worked fine. I’ve had to many concussions to deal with flickering headlights. I won’t be able to drive

2019 classic, I'm running bps lighting LEDs in hi, low, and fogs, no adapters, no flicker, clocked properly to 3 & 9.
I'm running the T2 (25w/bulb)in the lows and fogs. They are $50 cdn / set
And in the highs, B2 (50w/bulb) $65 cdn / set

I'm using OPT7 Fluxbeam-X in my truck. I've been happy with them. They came with all of the extras to hook up (flux capacitors, resistors, etc - I'm not really sure) and I haven't had any issues. I've been using them for, I'm guessing, 2.5 yrs or so.

Probably a little more expensive than what you're wanting, but it's my only LED headlight experience and they are good enough that I put them in my wife's Durango as well.

They just released a new version recently. I haven't looked into it though. And, I know they released a more affordable version last Christmas, but I can't vouch for any other options.

Heise, you should be able to find them local at any car performance, or car audio shop. Plug and play.
