Removal of the drawer sounds like a PITA, but I do have the jumpseat and no rear ducting, so I bet I could just stash it there (and it should make a great place for the future Kicker KEY amp )

It's actually pretty easy to get to. Google 4th generation Ram radio removal. To get to what you need it's 2 screws and the whole bezel pulls out easily.

You might be able to fit a small and down below though. Good idea!

Keep in mind, if you have the 120v outlet, you could have a screw behind the small panel surrounding the outlet.

Bought the glass screen protector for the 8.4 from Amazon on a lightning deal for 8 bucks.
This is my third vehicle in a row with the 8.4 and I don't know why I haven't tried this. It's pretty simple peel and stick. And it makes the screen feel and look a lot more premium imo

The regular screen already leaves some and I'm not sure if you use glass screen protectors on your phone but they generally do sometimes also get some but are easier to wipe off and I always have some type of microfiber in the cab.

Just added these (got 4) a few days ago flush mount stainless bull ring anchors: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PGH959E/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They look great and at only $15/ea I don't see why every RAM owner wouldn't have them unless you have a camper shell or rack blocking your stake pockets. I used a box cutter to cut out the scribed areas of the bed rail which worked fine don't need to use a router like they suggest.

I don't notice glare so much as a reflection. Like I can see my passenger seat in the reflection but not enough to make it an inconvenience. I would rather have it have some reflection and feel and look nicer than it not have it if that makes sense. It feels a lot better to press and what not.

Refer above as it causes more a reflection but I will say that the screen appears a lot more vibrant and crisp. I never really noticed before that there was a glare but it looks good. I'll snap some shots in the daylight tomorrow from my angle.

The blind spot mirror will obviously not dim but it doesn't really bother me. I use my blind spot obviously to change lanes so if it's at night I'm just looking for headlights in the next lane. If I cared a ton it would bother me that my mirror is blueish while my blind spot isn't but the benefit of them outweighs the cons.

They do not dim. However, the angle of the mirrors are such that even when someone is in your blind spot and using high beams, you do not notice.
NOTE: that is when they are placed along the upper outer edge of mirror. Cannot speak to other placement locations. I know some guys like to place them lower outside edge of mirror, to make seeing parking lot lines easier.

Maybe I don’t understand it, because I grew up outside the US and therefore am not familiar with all that gun stuff/hype over here, but why do you need a firearm accessible and whithin reach while driving?

Because, in America, criminals get three "Hots", a Cot and, most often, Cable TV.
Punishment is not a deterrent, for most Criminals.


While I personally have never felt the need for a weapon, some do, and it is their Right.

Besides, see the above about punishment not really being a deterrent to crime.
Kind of takes the sting out being on the wrong side of Gun Usage.

Reason folks QUIT carrying guns, hundred or so years ago. The Risk far outweighed reward. In 1879 to 1925, there was no 40 years of death row appeals.
You lost that court battle, punishment was swift and final. Not so today, so more people feel comfortable carrying guns again.
