Hello everyone! I own a 2018 RAM 2500 Laramie Longhorn Mega Cab and am asking for recommendations for the best aftermarket shocks for a smooth ride. My RAM does have the factory air ride suspension in the rear. My truck is also still all stock. No lifts etc..

I prefer Bilstein myself. I have 4600s on my current 2500 (stock height) and had 5100s on my last 2500 that had a leveling kit on it. It's a firm ride, but not a bouncy one and for me it's pretty comfortable.

To better answer the question, we need to know how you use the truck. "best" is subjective as the best on road option wont necessarily be the best off road option.

Message me with lift info, and how you plan to use the truck and we can help spec out some shocks and offer quotes.

Do you have 80psi in the tires? Lowering them to the proper level (for your current load) will help dramatically. Definitely keep them aired up well hauling heavy, but if its empty you can lower the pressure A LOT.

Also, if you drive around unloaded a lot, putting a bunch of weight in the bed would help a ton too.

Looks like there are 3 different people posting somewhat the same/somewhat different questions…might help to actually start your own post for your particular question. Its a bit confusing.
