I'm a bit unsure about this. I read about folks getting a tune and also have a PC. Can't one achieve PC results with a tune, thus saving $300?

I was tuned for a long time before adding the PC.

My personal opinion is it's still a complimentary upgrade and with the PC you can adjust throttle sensitivity on the fly without going thru several steps with the tuner.

I also never had the same type of throttle change just messing with the throttle boost on the tuner. As soon as I plugged up the PC it was a huge improvement in response.

Happy with both and I'd purchase them both again.

Of the two mod's a tuner will give you the best overall performance increase. The PC will give you more instantaneous acceleration, however it will not increase the truck performance, hp or tq. The two mod's together however, IMHO, play very well together.

Does the Edge Pulsar do what the pedal commander does along with being a tuner? I checked out the link above and didn't really see that.

A Pedal Commander will give you better throttle response over a tune. tuner will give you better overall performance. best part is you can use both at the same time. so you arent stuck just using one if you buy one of the 2 now. they compliment each other. also pedal commander wont void your warranty

To a point yes, but not adjustable like the PC.
