Big Horn and SLT

Is this the same package? Near me I see some advertised as a 2018 Ram SLT and then in the description it adds the Big Horn Package. So essentially it’s the same thing as getting a Big Horn? I’m confusing myself writing this, but I’m sure you guys get what I mean.

The Big Horn is a SLT, the Express is a SL, and a Tradesman is a ST

Yup mine is a SLT, The now differences I saw between that and the Bighorn I test drove were the SLT didn’t have running boards and nav. But the SLT did have the integrated brake controller.

The dealer with the SLT gave me 2k more on trade so figured I could handle life without running boards lol

You could’ve had them included on the “we owe” sheet. That’s what I did.

Running boards are cheap and easy to install.

A sport, doesn't have any other designation.

The bighorn is a package within the SLT trim.

The Big Horn is a SLT, the Express is a SL, and a Tradesman is a ST

the Express is a ST ram doesnt have SL. The express is a tradesman with a appearance package on it.

The sport technically is it's own thing but it is on the same level as the laramie.

The $2000 Big Horn package in 2016 added basically the Luxury and Remote Start groups to the base SLT along with the auto transfer case and some chrome bits. Model years may vary. You may not have been able to get the same Lux package on a SLT. Otherwise I don't think anything is unique here except the badge, its just a nice package of options. A value if these options were what you were looking for.

I think it's also year specific - the BH package in 09 is different than the 16.

The Sport package can be ordered with other packages. Mine is an SLT with the Sport package installed.
