Not so much height as width. With no level or lift kit, I'd say 35's, some are running 37 on stock suspension with little to no rubbing and possibly trimming. Which 305 are you referring to? I only see a 305 for 20in wheel and it's only 33.5 in height. About the same as the OE tire, but an inch wider.

I run Duratrac 35x12.5 on 2021 stock bead lock wheels. Once it was all said and done I measured them and the tires mounted on the truck are only 33.5” I felt a bit let down and sometimes maybe I wish I got a 37 (that probably measures at 35.5”) but it would certainly not fit in the spare

Very few, if any, tires run true to size and since people adjust the tire under the PSI specified on the door jam placard for driving conditions or ride comfort, they'll be smaller in diameter. I think Interco does, but they are aggressive off road tires. Interesting write-up on tire diameter: https://www.intercotire.com/basics_tire_measurement

That white power wagon with the 37's looks bad ass. Makes me want to get 37's for my truck. I am running 35-12.5-17 Yokohama Geolander MT's, no rubbing at all. I have a 1.5 inch leveling kit, wonder if that with the 37's, there woud be no rubbing issues??

You are basically at the same height as that white truck. Pretty sure he has thuren springs up front, which are 1.5” taller than factory springs. If you stick with stock wheels you would have very minimal rub on the fender probably, and some minor rubbing on the radius arm.
