Will installing the 5100, or any lift kit for that matter affect the factory warranty in any way?

i've been looking into the 5100s for awhile i called up the ram dealer just to make sure it wouldnt void the warranty and it doesnt now a full lift kit i would check with the service department of a local dealer to find out

@ Power247: that's crazy, especially since spacers are much easier to install as to do not require disassembly of the strut...

I also put on the black running boards that came in today.

Love the way it looks.

They were 160$ shipped off of ebay, so I bet if you really wanted to you could sell yours and get a set of black ones for nothing or for at least a lot cheaper than dipping yours.

I know right?!?! Luckily I found an old friend that I used to work with that rebuilds Toyotas. We are going to do a little labor trading. I am going to help him do his current project truck and he is going to help me with mine. Just waiting for it to cool down a little first since neither of us has enough room I our shops to pull the trucks into. Now I just have to decide between the spacers and the 5100's. :naughty:

Definately go with the 5100's. Spacers are exactly what they say they are. The Bilstein shock is a performance shock that is going to give you the lift you need. In the end, buying spacers first and then adding better shocks later is going to cost you more than just going with the Bilstiens from the start.

Will using the 5100's to level(ish) my truck have any negative effects on any of my 4x4 drive train?

Don't want to say no as some have experienced vibration due to the CV's angled more than they should.
But more members than not have not experienced any changes.
2.1 seems to be the best best for setting to avoid the vibration if it so happens, but again, many run at the 2.8 without issue.
