Just got them done last weekend. Love the look, glad you all talked me out of the spacers! Set at 2.8 stock rear. Awaiting 35s!

Did you have to replace the upper control arms? That's a 2014 right?

No ! You do not have to ....
Some do .... I did .... cheep insurance $100. 00 from www.rockauto.com

Hope this helps !

Thanks! I'm having a hard time finding a place to install. I really don't want to attempt myself and my local 4 wheel parts store refuse to do it. All other shops just want to do spacers and obviously according to this forum and many other sources the bilsteins get the best reviews. Thanks again!

I had a shop tell me it's a liability issue because of the UCA on the 13-14 Rams were failing. Then I had another shop (competitor) say that it's B.S. and they do it all the time no issues, but won't do the bilsteins.

I had mine installed at 4WD Parts Store. I was a little uneasy with messing with the springs. The install was $200 with the alignment so it wasnt terrible. I may eventually do the UCA's just in case. Go with the Bilsteins, you will love them. Rides great with them on!! I found a set of the Laramie wheels cheap and put those on Friday. Removed the 1500 emblems on the doors, and got rid of the ugly chrome gas door. Slowly but surely its coming along!

Why wont they do Bilsteins? I had a few big name shops tell me no...Firestone, NTB, Sears etc because they will not install someone elses parts (I ordered mine online). But really it doesnt look like they are difficult to install. Shop had mine done in 3 hours with the alignment.

The install isn't too bad imo , if you are a diy type and mechanically inclined and do a bit research .
However , everyone knows their own limitations and I highly suggest not exceeding them

I've been a professional mechanic for 25 yrs , so for me to say its an easy job to do is one thing .
I hope this guy finds a shop to do the install .

Here's an informative link that may help someone . The first post by AustinB is Great , if you go to post #19 you'll see where I posted a link to my personal install , I've posted up.a video and a step list and some good dos & don'ts and lots of photos , Hope this helps someone out !

do it ourself. is easy. if you do nto want to mess with the springs compressionissue. take your strut to a firestone or goodyear shop. tell them you want to switch outthe shocks on your strut adn want themto do it. you have nte shock. le them use their wall mounted springs compressor, should only xcost a $50, tops.

Have to find the right shop that will do it. I tried, and was told no by Firestone, NTB, Sears, & Goodyear. None of them wanted to take the liability of working on parts that were not theres. But I would guess it all depends on who is there when you go.

Nice look! Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder though, I really liked your chrome gas door and plan on getting one for mine
