Hello-
I have a 2 inch front leveling kit on my 16 Ram and I am hoping to add a little more to it. I purchased a set of 5100s for the front and rear and will be getting a 1 inch rear lift spacer.

My question is how does the 5100s work with the leveling kit? Will the total front lift be the 2 inch spacer + whatever setting I dial them in at? And what is the real max I should go with stock UCAs?

Getting ready to level my 2016 so I’m curious on the UCA issue as well. I plan to go 2.5” with 35x12.50 tires. Getting mixed feedback on whether those tires will fit... but need to know if the UCA’s are really going to allow the ball joints to fail with the “hyperextension” they are put at with the level kits. Readylift sells UCA’s (to correct the geometry) with their lift kits and I’m tempted to just go that route.

You should not use spacer and leveling kit. You will definitely prematurely wear out the UCA and front drive shafts will be stressed to the max. If you want more than 2 1/2 to 3 inches you need a lift kit that will drop the center differential and also give you correct angle UCA

Read the first "Sticky" in this forum. This info is from that sticky:

Stacking Leveling Kits

The answer is no! Again, this is one of those things where I don’t care what your buddy told you or what you think… there’s no if, ands or buts. You cannot stack a spacer on top of Bilsteins to get additional front end lift. Typically you do not want to lift your front end any higher than 2.8” without doing a control arm and front diff drop. You will be putting your entire front end out of spec, your control arms and CV shafts will be at ridiculous angles which will be wearing everything out very fast and I doubt any shop will be able to align your front end. If you want that much height you need to start looking into lift kits rather than leveling kits.
