Hello everyone,
New to the forum what a great site. Im needing some help with what I assume is a blend door problem. I have a 2009 Dodge Ram 5.7 Ive been getting a knocking sound from behind my console around the radio. This has been going on for a year now. Ive put it off because everthing seem to still be working. Today I drove my truck the heat was working fine parked it a started back up with no heat no more clicking just blowing cold air. Did it finally go out? The truck is not over heating or anything like a thermostat it comes up the temp fine. If the blend door finally went out would it cause cold air only? If so which blend door? Should I relpace them all or just the one causing problems? Should I try this fix myself or take to a mechanic. Thanks for any help.
