I bought a 2011 Laramie and I looked under it when I bought only to see that it had some almost new looking cheap Bay quickstruts ... it sits at just over 34 inches in the front. So I bought the blistien 5100 set for front and rear.
My question before I get this all torn down and ready to swap out is ..... will I be able to get the lower coil spring seat off of these cheap quickstruts?
I have seen pictures of the lower seat and thought I had found a mopar part number but what I found was the upper insulator part number. If the seats are available I was thinking of just getting new.

Shame is now you have no clue what the spring rate and unloaded height the quick strut spring is in relation to the OE spring. That will have an effect on the ride and the height settings also when used on a Bilstein also. Factory uses many different springs to achieve their desired ride and height because of Type of cab , engine, etc.... I made a mistake years ago selling my Bilsteins with my OE springs on it . I regretted that move later. I never could get it to ride good again .

Well thanks ..... I was afraid of that being a issue also .... looks like I will price out new springs from the dealer on Monday when I go get the other parts. If they are available .....

Thanks for the link, I have saved it for future reference
