Traded in my 22 for a new 25 Laramie level 2 with a 14.4 screen. I'm finding what I believe is the Bluetooth connectivity causing what I feel is a lot of audio stutters or drops. Sometimes it'll play fine for minutes other times it'll keep doing it for short times. Might be a quick half second drop or stutter might be a group of them in a row that makes it sound almost like static or cutting out for a moment.

I initially thought maybe it was just my android phone but the wife who uses an iPhone and carplay instead of me using Android Auto says she is experiencing the same problem when she drives it.

Playing XM seems fine. I do need to test outside the Android auto and carplay environment using direct Bluetooth. I do feel at times when the screen refreshes or changes that I have seen the stutters but other times definitely there is no correlation.

I'm willing to bet if I take it to a dealer they're going to tell me it's the phone but I've been able to reproduce this now with at least two. It's not a constant problem where it's doing it all the time but it's pretty darn frequent

Thoughts of others have experienced this and what they have found

seems fishy

I have had the stutter issue, for about 2months.I thought it was my phone ,cause I dropped it on the ground a few times.I replaced the phone but it made no improvement.I transferred all my files to the new phone.Still had the stutter in both the Ram and on a Sony9500ES in my car.I read about it on the internet, with the idea of trying to find the cause, because you don't know if it's a problem with the truck or phone.I sort of blamed it maybe on the last Android Auto update.I happen to have a Samsung phone. What I read was that if you are storing alot of data in your cache it will cause stuttering.I cleared my phone cache of all calls I'd made for the last 8 or 9years.I didn't know it had an effect or even you could delete it .It dosen't seem related but....It worked for me.Go to your phone and delete the record of your call history.Btw, your phone stores many files that can be deleted if you aren't using them. Also there are alot of this same complaint on the internet, and much better explanations than I can give, if you Google it. I have had no issue since I did that a month ago.
