Bluetooth Question

I have a 2013 1500 with the "Navigation Ready" stereo. Instead of paying to turn on the Navigation I just use Google maps.

The question I have is how to get my phone (Galaxy S6) to play the google turn by turn audio through the stereo system? I use bluetooth for calls and also receive texts through bluetooth.....but for some reason Google maps doesn't work?

Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. Yes I checked the settings on the google app to make sure bluetooth was on.

Have you tried a different navigation app on your G S6 ?

Go to http:// driveuconnect.com/
And check the avail devices list for compatibility on your radio . The Samsung Galaxy S -6 is a fairly new phone , you may need an update to your radio to use the S-6 for turn by turn audio ? Also I'd try another app for navigation ?

If this helps, my S5 Active works through my uconnect with Google Maps. Did not have to do anything special that I recall I other than pairing the phone with uconnect. I have a 13 SLT with the 5.0.

For what it's worth I just upgraded to the RA2 5.0 Radio and my Samsung S5 works ...

i thought you had to have the radio in a bluetooth function (ex streaming music) for it to pick up the bluetooth of the nav. to my knowledge it wont broadcast the nav voice if your in radio mode o the screen

That's what I have to do with WAZE. If I'm streaming Pandora I get all the audible warnings.

I believe you will get it if you are in the bluetooth streaming function only.
