ok so my truck started off stock
added a 6" lift
and some 1.5" spacers on the stock 20x8 big horn wheels
fast forward a few weeks later and i put a set of flares on the truck
i like the flares.......but what i want is for the tires to sit a little more flush again. i like the aggressive look a lot more than the look when tires are kind of "tucked" into the wheel wells.
im thinking some 2.25" BORA spacers would be perfect. and im not afraid of spacers (i do have a set on the truck already) but just because of the unfounded horror stories people post of cheap spacers causing balancing issues or even wheels flying off trucks.....i want to be sure that there's not some sort of limit to how much spacer should be used safely?
i.e. is a 3" spacer any more detrimental to the normal wear and tear of a truck than say a 1" spacer?
Thanks in advance to this website for being such a source of info and helping me get my truck done right!
