Borla?

Thinking of putting a single inlet single outlet borla pro xs muffler on. Anyone like that set up or recommend something different. Just want to swap mufflers. I don’t want a “full” exhaust.

Get you a 1 in and 2 out you won't be sorry 3" in and 2.25 out. They'll have to fabricate 2 short pipes to hook the tail pipes up right. The tail pipes hook together a d go into a single outlet. The muffler shop around my house only charged 40.00 dollars but I paid 50.00

Nope 3" center in and 2-2.25 straight out. It doesn't matter since you have to fabricate 2 short pipes to hook up the dual tail pipes.. The dual tail pipes come together at a y to a single pipe.

Decided to go with a single inlet single outlet Flowmaster 40. There is zero drone in the cabin. My mds is off. Acceleration is deep and clean. Idle is a tad more than stock. Overall, very satisfied. Much quieter than expected. I did the welding and pipe bend. Ig is white_horse_302

Several options. A tune, a pulsar or simple select the highest gear to -8 when you are in drive using the +\- on the steering wheel. Yes, you will have to do it every time. You will see the gear you are in and the gear you are limiting it to. In this case, -8

I know about manually temporarily disabling MDS using gear limit, but hate having to do that.

I didn’t know the pulsar for the 19’s didn’t work on a 20. Just get your pcm unlocked and tuned. Expensive and semi worth it. With real mods, definitely worth it. I’m tuned by J

Too bad it doesn't run on Apple products (Mac or iPhone). I may have to buy a cheap Android. Just hate having extra stuff around, especially electronics since they seem to go extinct in record time.

Yeah I just went ahead and got me a unlocked pcm and the i3 tuner and kept the original pcm. Just got my truck back from having the rear window replaced for leaking. Not to get the truck running like I want it too. Got the rest of the week off. Can't wait and then get a custom tune

You can get a droid product cheap. I just went with an unlocked pcm and tuner.

Yes that's what the i3 is. It's about as big as a cell phone. You download info from original pcm. Then you put your new pcm in and the hook it up and program and the fun begins. Lol the tuner plugs inthe OBD2 port. And make sure you keep the I3 updated. Then when you get it programmed unplug the tuner. How much does the andriod one cost and how do you bypass the security module
