Hell, I thought I was the only one.I get 99mpg going down steep hills.......amazing!
Yea when you cant reach 200 miles on a full tank of gas…regardless of the mpg…that fawking sucks.I mean I knew it would be bad. But I still figured I’d be a tad better and I got the 8 speed. Overall I love the truck. Road trips with a trailer are a little annoying from the range.

I agree range has more to do with it than actual mpg. If I had a 50 gallon tank I would not be so concerned about actual mpg but with these puny 31 gallon tanks it suxYea when you cant reach 200 miles on a full tank of gas…regardless of the mpg…that fawking sucks.
It looks like you have people replying to this thread, on the Power Wagon specific page, that have 1500's????
Crazy right? Can't complain with those numbers from my last trip.
And im heavy, and not very wind resistant...Thuren lift, 35's, slide in 1200#-ish camper in the back.
The secret was slowing down. All 2 lane so I could get away with 67 mph, which I found to be the sweet spot.
If you look right above the title of the thread, it shows you which section of the forum your in(see highlight in pic). This goes for desktop and mobile (when on mobile turn your phone sideways to see the subforum name).Guilty as charged, my bad. In my defense I never browse the forum by sub forum I just use the "new posts" page and whatever shows up shows up so I never know which subforum I'm in.
One fill up does not tell the story.mine depends. if just running around short trips etc my evic is optimistic by 1-2 mpg. on long drives ie full to empty type drives mine is pretty accurate.

Which direction?9.4L/100 km = 25 mpg on this trip. Thicker oil and better tires have reduced that down to around 23 these days, but very happy with that considering all the 13 to 16 some of you guys are getting. This was all highway, 3 hours.

Which direction?
I get better mpg going west to east due to winds.
I track every fill-up and mostly use the same station and pump and do it the same way every time, I use the TFL filling method. I agree one fill up and one trip does not tell any kind of story as far as mpg go. Driving the same route all the time round trip is needed. I live in Montana where either going up or going down with plenty of head winds and tail winds and cross winds. I have a Daughter that lives in Bozeman and one that lives in Boise ID so I have made those trips many many times and my Brother in-law lives in Spokane so make that trip very often too.One fill up does not tell the story.
Different pumps, different temps etc effect the amount of fuel put into the tank.
