Does anyone know the general signs of brake calipers going bad?

I have this random like "metal" squil, squealing sound coming from my front end, it comes and goes at certain speeds.

I have changed everything such as, both wheel hub bearing assemblies, rotors, and brake pads. All this is new! So the only thing I can think of is calipers :angry94:

Has anyone else having a simulator issue?

It will usually warp the rotor but that just sounds like the low pad indicating clips telling you your pads are almost gone. If that's the case and you've been driving with this for a while you should a a groove in the rotor where the clip was contacting

He's changed the rotors.

OP, could it be coming from your belt/pulley system? or does it only happen when you brake?

what did the old pads look like? Were they worn evenly? You replaced the rotors. Why? Was it because you waited too long to change the pads? When you try to wring that last nickel's worth of friction materials use out of your pad, you are damaging the caliper. When you push the Pistons back in their bores, they have a tendency to stick and/or **** and eat up new pads, possibly rotors, too.

The sound is like a squeak/humming sound, it can be very pitchy at times! It's definitely annoying and more annoying that I can't figure it out! It only happens at certain speeds like between 35-45 mph in the city, on the highway is when it gets pitchy between 65-75. What's weird is that it goes away when it rains, so when it's wet outside it's gone!

I changed the brake pads way before they get close to the metal contact. I also changed the rotors because I went with an upgraded drilled slotted rotor and the brake pads are new all the way around as well. Also, the wheel hub assemblies are new too! None of these parts are not even 6 months old.

maybe the drilled & slotted rotors are "singing", kind of like a wind instrument, or knobby tires.

Are you sure it is from the wheels? I had an alternator bearing start to go bad on me before and gave a pitched squeak/squeal at certain RPM. Made it almost sound like a squeak tab on a break pad. Could be a tensioner pulley bearing also.
