Brake controller/SGW module

Hi, I have 2018 Ram ecodiesel and I installed a Oem molar brake controller. Followed the install procedure everything was done correctly. But after going into Alfaobd to program I found out the Security Gateway Module won’t allow me to program it in. Where is the module located? And can it be unplugged temporarily yo program or do I need a bypass cable?

You must have a bypass cable. M2Mods is a forum vendor and member(s) who can get you the cable you need. @Mpgrimm2

Remember with alfa, you have to "enable or turn on" 4 separate functions for it to work properly

The module is located behind the radio. You can't just unplug it. You either need a bypass module (zautomotive.com) or a bypass cable, https://www.kaodtech.com/product-page/security-module-bypass
