that for pads & rotors on all 4 corners? what is your expectation/daily use of your truck with these on it??
the "price" isn't a talking point anymore, that is VERY cheap. "quality" is always debatable. there's a bazillion companies out there selling these. FWIW I've seen the "Power Stop" folks out there a bit, they are definitely establishing themselves in the budget brake replacement parts segment. check out RockAuto too.

EDIT: and you don't need pads & rotors from same company by the way. you could mix and match a parts set from companies like EBC, Wagner, Bendix, Hawk Brake Pads etc. etc.

Hopefully someone can chime in.Is this a decent price or choice?View attachment 519625
Is this for your lifted/tuned Ram? If so, I'd opt for the better Z23 kit or the great Z36 kit. Like @REDinAZ said, check RockAuto, they have the other Power Stop kits for cheaper than AutoAnything does.

Also, check out the Chrome extension RetailMeNot, it will try discount codes for supported sites, there are a few for AutoAnything and RockAuto that will save a bit more money than what you show.

That's a great price but there's a reason they're that cheap, they're not great brakes for trucks *in my opinion and experience*. I've tried power stop on 2 of my half ton trucks in the past and a buddy tried them on an HD chevy and his half ton Ram, both of us warped them within the first few months to the point of replacing the rotors. They're great for cars but just not heavy duty enough for trucks.

I swear by Napa's "Adaptive One" rotors. I've used them on several trucks now, my dad has as well and they've performed great. Many years of use with no warpage. I usually use their Adaptive One ceramic pads along with them, which are great pads, but after reading some reviews here I decided to give the Wagner OEX line a try. I'll be doing the rears this weekend. This stuff is a bit more expensive than the PowerStop stuff but well worth it IMHO.

If you want to try the Napa Adaptive One rotors, the PN#'s for a '17 1500 with the Hemi are:
UP880073CR for the front
UP880082CR for the rear

I eliminated EBC I used them on my Audi but are double the cost. I don’t autocross my truck

I'm not disagreeing with your personal experience, I just want to offer a counter that I've had my Power Stop Z36 F/R kit on for over a year including camper towing up mountains (and cross country) and hot and cold climates and don't have any warping and they are still working very well.

It's funny, I've seen plenty of people that have good experiences with them and swear by them. That's why I tried them a second time but when the same thing happened, I said I was done. I'll actually edit my post since I kinda go against the grain with opinions of them lol

I've used them on a few of my Mustangs and been happy though

I recently installed the PowerStop Z36 package on my 19' and did their recommended bedding in process right after installation. I also did a full brake fluid flush and fill with Motul DOT 5.1 as well.

I have towed and hauled the maximum recommended by the OEM with these new brakes in uphill and downhill situations, and in torrential rain, too.

Heating them up to high levels (I'm a generator guy and sometimes bring equipment to and from) with many heating/cooling cycles in their short life so far on my truck (say about 4,000Km's or so, to date since installation) and they are solid brakes with zero issues.

I've used EBC, DBA, Brembo, StopTech, and PosiQuiet pads and rotors in the past on other vehicles, including my old SRT8 300C, and these PowerStop Z36 brakes are top line, in my opinion.

Thanks that’s the advice I was hoping for.
Gander at those wagner oex, so well built and yet inexpensive. Basically no dusting or squeaking which is a feature of ceramics, but also very good at grabbing, they were a gain in stopping over oem metalics in our vehicles, plus heat dissipation channels. The more I have found out about these the more I am glad I bought them.

I dont know, I went with wagner e coated so they have protection from getting welded to the hub and that is the brand they sell. But I'd research that if you want to use slotted or something like that, I have no info.

ks the response was great. The facts pointed out about my lead foot and of course towing my vette around is a good reason not to get replacement quality

Yeah, I paid right at $300 a couple months ago for Bosch Blue pads and acdelco coated rotors. I also picked up shoes and hardware for the parking brake which needed done as well. Sucks to do, but they get rust jacking and will fail.

You're unlikely to find any real performance or feel improvement from the flashy brands with slots, holes, and fancy ads. Just new parts and fluid makes a big difference in pedal feel.
