I have just bought my first Dodge I got the Dodge ram sport 1500 hydro blue I bought new and have had it for 4 days and when I come to a slow stop it seems to have a slight jerk right before I stop wondering why this is

Look at the thread a little ways down "Harsh shift from 2-1....", it's pretty common especially when brand new and in it's "learning" phase.

Mine had that and the dealership ended finding there was an update for the TCU module

Mine does the same. It has lessened considerably though since new. It's just a nuance on the 8 speed. The 3.92 gears amplify it a bit.
