Brake life on 2500?

just wondering what everyone has been getting out of their stock brakes ...

I currently have 42,000 miles with about 10k towing ... other than brake dust my brakes seem fine.

What are you getting out of your stock brakes ?

Got 51k on mine now. Pull a 6000lb boat a couple times a year. So far they seem fine.

These factory brake pads are amazing. I'm at 57K with occasional towing and they still look great. If they ever wear out I'm pretty sure I'll put the factory ones back on.

Changed my factory brake pads at 121488.9 miles.

All 8 pads were wore to 3/32. They looked like copies of each other.

I hope I can get a good amount of miles from the replacements, but not expecting 120k again.

I'm at 92K and all is well. I think I've only towed about 5K of that mileage but do quite a bit of city stop/go driving. I'd be hard pressed to go with anything other than a set of OEM with this kind of success.

50K with lots of towing and truck camper usage no issues. I sold my older Dodge Ram 2500 V10 with 65K still original brakes. No need to move from OEM.

63k on a 16. Pads are still over 50 percent and a third of my miles are towing.
