Brake light out

Left rear tail light out is the message. I replaced the bulb, still out. I replaced the housing assembly and new bulb still out. What else could be cause this and is there a way to check for a break in the wiring harness?

Same thing has been happening to me. Randomly pops up that message when I start the truck. Replaced bulbs, still pops up.

Is the light actually out or do you just have a message that it is? If it's just the message but the light actually works, check the third brake light. It will cause that message

You all should check your third brake light ,the one in the center of the cab . These will trip lights out for other bulbs.

Excellent. Thanks for the tip. Should I reseal while there? Any tips? Mine's an '18 1500
