I have a 2019 2500 Cummins. I noticed it was really rumbling when I was trying to come to a stop. Replaced the rotors and pads in the front. It is still rumbling and shaking as I go to stop. Thinking of doing the back rotors and pads next. A buddy who is a mechanic is surprised the front rotors didn’t take care of the issue. Anyone else out there have this happen or any ideas what it could be?

It’s pretty rough as I go to stop.

Probably not the brakes then. What kind of tires you run? Aggressive block tread like M/T tires have can be rumbly as you come to a stop. How about the front axle u-joints? Have they been submerged in water and the needle bearing are rusting up?

In my experience wrenching for a living the rear discs are usually the first ones to turn to **** in the salt belts. They'll most likely be all corroded to crap on the backsides.
