Watch the video. Biggest thing is pulling the grill. Have to keep it off the bumper or it could get scratched. I've heard of people covering it with a blanket or towel. I just made sure I didn't let it drop when I pulled it. Don't pull down on the top of it, pull it straight out away from the truck. Hope it goes well.

if you have a loooooong extension you can do it without removing the grill. Thats how I do it now.........I can swap heads in under 10 minutes (yeah yeah, I'm a seasoned f'n pro)

Its a 10mm........and I bought an extension from Amazon JUST to do headlights.

Sunex 3515W 3/8-Inch Drive 15-Inch Impact Wobble Extension - Amazon.com

Throw some butyl (or balled up duct tape) inside the socket and it "grabs" the bolt. You'd need that later too, unless you can get your hand in there.....

Works pretty good!

I have a couple long extensions from my maintenance days. Great tips. Should speed things up when I get to messing with headlights. At some point I know I'll go HID, but I got lifting to do first, and wheels.

Did the Gorilla Glue work? I head that glue for plastics won't work for headlights because they are made out of something else (polypropylene?).

Isn't plastic welding the only way to fix them?

Hey. Sorry for the late reply. I ended up just taking them into a body shop to get fixed.

I repaired 3 tabs last night, plastic welded them. They aren't "pretty", but who cares, they hold!

Quick tip. Dont overtighten them. They tend to snap
