Guys, I have seen people asking questions on specific things listed on their build sheets. My question is would someone review mine. I recently bought a 2016 Sport 1500 (100,000mi) and I'm just trying to figure out what excatly I have because it seems to me that there is quite a lot more to the truck than I thought was standard. I'd like to get an idea of what it may have been used for. I added a PDF file, I know its alot to scroll thru. The page market OTHER is where I think the non stardard stuff begins.

Thanks,

Will be pretty difficult to say what it was used for based just off the build sheet. These trucks are built from basic to luxury and at each level have people using them for any range of things. Do you have any specific questions as to the options listed? Looks like a good drive train setup, of course that is subjective but I think the hemi/8 speed/3.92 lsd is the best setup, which your truck has according to your pdf.

The heavy duty engine cooling and transmission oil cooler. Raised ride height seems some Rams had a dealer installed 2in lift. Mine seems a little bit higher. Customer preferred 26l and 2Tl. Why the springs are listed in the other category of the build list. Are the axle sizes standard or is a 235mm rear different.

Build sheet does not show dealer installed stuff. Window sticker *might*.

Raised ride height seems pretty common, most people agree its about a 1" "lift" because of slightly taller springs. No rhyme or reason as to what truck gets it or doesn't.

I believe the build sheet would show the rear end ratio, though.

everything you listed here, my sxt (an ST with carpet basically) has and its a pretty base truck. the stuff i see that you have that i don't is all the "sport" truck extras and trim. i don't see anything that looks to me like it was a dealer installed extra. if you really think it has a 2" lift, its possible it has the mopar "2 " lift" kit which is actually a levelling package. if you post a picture from the side i'm sure someone can tell you pretty quick if it has a level or not.

i assume you didn't put the aftermarket rims on it. it definitely looks leveled to me. what's the tire size on the rubber? it's pretty common for people to do a level to run a 34 or 35 inch tire instead of the stock 33's yours probably came with. its also possible the previous owner bought the rims and tires off the dealer and traded in stock rims and tires and had a lift done before he drove it off the lot that way. again, fairly common. you could ask for a printout of the service records from a dealer and find out pretty quick if it was done by them.

nice. those'll work for you! that of course makes it that much taller as well:) i know even with my 2" level and no tire change in size it feels weirdly taller than it was.

If that's a factory installed lift than it's a mopar rebranded 4" superlift. It's for sure higher than a 2" level and you have the subframe up front and the track bar is dropped in the rear. Aside from that and the aftermarket wheels, seem like a pretty standard, yet well spec' d truck. With a setup like that is say either the dealer sold lifted trucks or someone with some money to blow had the dealer do everything to avoid the hassle of warranty stuff. Either way nice truck. That H3 ain't too shabby either.

Yeah, H3 was a decent weekend offroad warhorse. People give then a lot of junk. I had it for almost 8 years. Turtle on the highway those 35 and wheels were heavy. I didn't realize the build sheet till after I bought it that why I was asking. Truck has some issues but cosmetic and I plan to use her so I was alright with them as long as the frame, engine and drive train were solid. Plus I could not afford anything near new or low mileage.
Thanks again for the replies looks like I was able to find a good spec truck.
