Building a dual 12" sub box?

i came across a member of another forum who built a sub box for 2 12" subs and i'm gonna make one Similar to his....
(I messaged him but it seems he is no longer around anymore)

anyway he used 3/4" thick Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF)

and his dimensions were

58" Long
9" wide Base
and 5" wide top

but no Height

Does anybody have any suggestions on how tall it should be?

or any other suggestions at all post em up!!!! haha

the subs im buying are coming with a box but i want a box that stretches the width of the truck so it has 1 sub behind the driver and the other behind the passenger..

Also is it better to make the box angled like his or have a perfect rectangle??

and is it better to have the subs facing Upward or Forward???

Sorry bout all the questions im just trying to clarify cuz this will be my first sub box build and i want it to sound Decent and Look good Too

The floor is angled so I would make the box the same way

That's what i was thinking ans i'm also thinking that making it about 18"-19" tall should be good but i'm gonna wait see what others say and go pick up the supplies on Thursday or Friday

just measure behind your seat to see what ya got, and angle it back. Should be able to make it out of a 4x8 sheet of mdf

Yeah i think i might it depends on the actual size of the box... i i want something that is the width of the truck instead of having something in the middle so well see!!!! i might even Diamond Plate the whole box that would be cool!!! Im still playing with all my ideas but i like the Custom look better than anything ya know?

i was looking at Home depot for the MDF and for the 4X8 its only $30 so i figure ill have extra for other projects maybe!!

My subs are in Jacksonville (well one of them is anyway) right now so they should be here either 2mrrw or Monday!!!!! So im going to home depot 2mrrw so i can buy a 4X8 sheet of MDF and some Silicone Caulk!!!!!

instead of doing the box in regular automotive carpet im gonna buy a sheet of Realtree Camo fabric

ill post up pics of the progress when its done!!

i cant wait for this to be done IMO its gonna be sweet!!!! Wish me luck haha

So here's the blueprint of the box..

Everything is drawn out and I have everything I need now I'm just waiting for my dad to have some extra time...

Hopefully we will start on Friday!!!!! I also still need to sell some stuff so I can buy a 2nd sub lol
